Welcome to Explore Psychology.
Adult psychotherapy and assessment for trauma, anxiety and depression in Geelong.
Welcome.
Explore Psychology in Geelong provides clinical psychotherapy and assessment through face-to-face consultations to people who are 16 years and over. We also have a Telehealth (online video) service to clients Australia-wide.
I’m Luke, principal psychologist, member of the APS and director of Explore Psychology. My goal is to provide clients with a supportive, non-judgmental and welcoming space in which we can work together. I know it can sometimes be a difficult decision to reach out for support - and the right psychologist for you can be hard to find - but collaboratively, we can explore and develop a better understanding of the difficulties you’re facing. I can also help you to establish healthy coping strategies in a safe, supportive way that is evidence-based and tailored to your individual needs.
I have experience working with young and older adults providing clinical assessment, diagnosis and psychotherapy for trauma (acute and PTSD) alcohol- and other drug-related problems, addiction, relationship issues, men’s health, depression, and anxiety. I’m passionate about helping others explore and improve their emotional and psychological wellbeing using psychotherapy that is specific to your needs, and culturally appropriate. I can support private, Medicare, NDIS, WorkSafe (VIC) and TAC clients, and am an experienced mindfulness, ACT- and CBT-based therapist. I am also a certified trauma-informed practitioner using eye movement de-sensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
